Dan Belgue is a folk musician most comfortable hanging out in the sonic fringes. A seasoned performer and busker, his distinct style combines a passion for old-time and bluegrass music with a songwriting sensibility developed from a desire to create and experiment. His live shows are a testament to folk music being a living, breathing tradition, dynamically weaving together traditional and original numbers performed on banjo and guitar, with groove to spare.

Dan has released several collections of original music, and has performed across Canada multiple times, from busking to bars, cafes to festivals, trains to boats, and countless living rooms and kitchens.

He is mostly now writing music for a new album, experimenting with different lo-fi recording set-ups, pickin' and grinnin', and plotting future schemes.
